What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Donut Palace?
Overview
Seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our donut shop.
Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail is preferred but not required.
Hours
4:30AM - 12:30PM (8hrs/day)
Duties
- Greet customers with a smile and in friendly manner in person or over phone.
- Process sales transactions, which may include card, cash, checks, etc.
- Maintain a clean restaurant front.
- Restock and organize beverages, and donuts.
- Make baked goods such as kolaches/croissant rolls during slow hours.
- Communicate and notify when individual food items are low.
- Brewing coffee as needed.
- Washing empty trays as needed.

- Customer service oriented mindset.
- Verbal English/Spanish fluency preferred.
- Able to work and adapt in fast paced busy environment.
- Able to legally work in US.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cashiering within a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS (point of sales) systems preferred.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
