The Warehouse Associate/Back Up Delivery Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities and timely delivery of goods to customers. This position involves managing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Additionally, the role requires stepping in as a delivery driver when needed, ensuring that products reach customers safely and on schedule. Minimum Qualifications:
- Pass a DOT physical with a drug screen (NO CDL REQUIRED)
- High school diploma or equivalent. (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or warehouse management systems.
- Experience with route planning and navigation tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and properly store incoming inventory in the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipments ensuring accuracy and compliance to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
- Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Serve as a back up delivery driver, transporting goods to customers in a timely and safe manner when required.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before deliveries.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate warehouse and delivery activities.
