About the Role:
The Shipping Lead plays a crucial role in the Warehouse industry by overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of goods into the warehouse. Job hours will start with afternoon/night and adjust later in the fall to morning/afternoon.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or receiving role, with at least 2 years experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse, receiving, pallet jack, picking orders, housekeeping, and inventory
- Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train receiving staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies or damages.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve issues related to shipments.
