About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in the Wholesale Trade industry. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers. You will be expected to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to DOT regulations. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with our clients. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy weights
- Familiarity with interpreting road maps and using electronic log systems
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in route sales or delivery
- Knowledge of the Chesapeake area and surrounding regions
- Experience with moving mechanical parts and equipment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Assist with loading and unloading of products as needed
Skills:
