We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our cafe! Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
- Lead and supervise staff by providing training, coaching, and development to enhance team performance
- Oversee customer service excellence by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Multi task multiple orders at a time
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Communicate clearly with the Manager regarding staff or product issues
- Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets while maintaining optimal store presentation and organization
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory cafe or restaurant role with demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of retail operations including POS systems, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base
- An up to date ServSafe Manager Certification is required
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and customer service standards
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail from cleanliness, cooking, and beverages is desired
