Donnelly Energy helps small businesses throughout New Jersey become more energy efficient in the lighting and HVAC categories as a participating contractor for the Direct Install program run by all of the public energy utilities in New Jersey. (PSE&G, JCP&L, NJNG, and more)
About the Role
Donnelly Energy is looking to hire a sales representative (energy advisor) to join our team! This would be a full-time position based throughout New Jersey, with frequent travel for prospecting in our main county territories (but not limited to): Morris, Passaic, Burlington, Hunterdon, Monmouth, Atlantic and Middlesex Counties. Having a reliable vehicle is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
- Provide energy efficiency solutions to small businesses.
- Conduct site assessments and energy audits.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sales or customer service preferred.
- Comfortability with heights and tight spaces.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of energy efficiency programs.
- Experience in the HVAC or lighting industry.
