CNC Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Peekskill, NY
Compensation: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a CNC Setup Operator to join their 2nd shift team at their facility in Peekskill, NY area. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment with opportunities for training and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Work with production teams to implement process improvements.
- Document setup procedures and machine performance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus).
- Previous CNC setup/operation experience preferred; training available for motivated candidates.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ITAR/DOD compliance requirements.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM
Compensation: $17.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
