Job Summary
Donna B. Walker, CPA has been a well-respected and experienced accounting and tax service in the Maryville area for many years. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with administrative experience including all MS Office products, able to work independently, personable with excellent communication skills, and dependable.
Responsibilities/skills include:
· General office/clerical duties to include data entry, typing, filing, scanning, copying and other miscellaneous duties
· Answer multi-line phone system
· Will be responsible for processing income tax returns
· Assist with year-end business/tax/payroll processes
· Personable with excellent communication skills to handle clients on the phone and in person
· Good computer skills
· Proficient MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and other software programs
· QuickBooks experience both desktop and on line helpful
· Good organizational skills required
· Must pay strict attention to detail
· Must be able to handle a fast-paced work environment which includes meeting strict deadlines
· Professional in appearance and demeanor
· Must be confident, self-motivated, responsible, dependable and prompt
· Team player who works well with and supports others
· Prior public accounting/tax office experience a plus
· Remote work is not available, all work on-site
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of experience
Able to work extended hours during peak season and week-ends as needed
Competitive pay depending on experience
Applicant must be within commuting distance of Maryville, TN
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
