What are the responsibilities and job description for the LABORER position at DONJON MARINE CO LLC?
We are a metals trading and processing facility located in the NYC metro area. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual interested in an entry level position in our organization. The position is for yard laborer in our non Ferrous and Ferrous metals production departments located in Staten Island, NY. Work duties include sorting, processing, and packaging of copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, and steel products. Training will include the identification and grading of all subgroups of these metals. This position will require an individual who can work indoors and also be exposed to the outdoor environment. Good communication skills to interact with the general public is a plus. This position will also require some heavy lifting, training for forklift use, and some general housekeeping of the facility.
Guaranteed 40 hour work week, Saturdays are required. A competitive hourly wage will be offered to the best candidate.
The compensation also includes a full time benefits package with complete medical, dental, and vision coverage and a retirement/profit sharing program.
