Done Right Hood & Fire Safety is seeking a highly motivated, skilled Electrician / Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone experienced in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing electrical and mechanical components related to commercial kitchen exhaust systems and ventilation equipment.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair exhaust motors, blowers, belts, bearings, and ventilation systems
- Service and diagnose motor controls, contactors, starters, disconnects, relays, and electrical components
- Install, troubleshoot, and program VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Diagnose and repair precipitator wiring, power packs, and control systems
- Service and troubleshoot CaptiveAire and Accurex control systems
- Perform electrical diagnostics, wiring repairs, and component replacements
- Respond to emergency service calls when needed
- Inspect and troubleshoot rooftop exhaust fans and make-up air systems
- Work safely at heights on rooftops and ladders
- Complete service reports and communicate findings professionally with customers and office staff
- Experience as an Electrician, HVAC Electrical Technician, Exhaust Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Controls Technician
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with motors, VFDs, motor controls, wiring, relays, switches, and electrical schematics
- Experience with CaptiveAire, Accurex, or commercial kitchen ventilation systems is a major plus
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve problems in the field
- Comfortable working on rooftops and heights (not afraid of heights)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be reliable, motivated, organized, and responsive
- Ability to work overtime and respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary
- OSHA, electrical, HVAC, or trade certifications are a plus
