The Senior Controls Engineer role is vital to ensuring that furnaces and supporting production equipment run efficiently with minimal downtime. In this role you will work closely with both Maintenance, Production, and Project teams to troubleshoot issues, create implementation plans, and ensure successful implementation of instrument and control solutions.
- Develop standards and specific control type and configuration for new equipment and instrumentation used in the manufacturing process.
- Oversee installation of control systems and instrumentation on new and/or existing equipment.
- Develop and maintain required documentation to support controls applications used in the manufacturing process, including operation and maintenance.
- Make programming changes that are required to maintain and improve the manufacturing processes.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, which will benefit from automation techniques.
- Train production and maintenance personnel in control operations, maintenance and programming functions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety standards and OSHA compliance.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% based on business need

- BA/BS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving Electrical and Controls issues in plant setting
- Ability to work alone or as a team, and able to multitask.
- A passion for training and mentoring maintenance and production staff
Salary range based on experience: $110k - $130k
