- The Transition to Manufacturing Project Manager will act as the Primary Operations leader for the project to oversee a design project from prototype to full-scale high-speed manufacturing within the Camden site. They will work with Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and Sector Resources to align manufacturing capabilities with the program need.
- This individual will report directly to the Operations Division leader and have dotted-line reporting to the Program Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for developing schedule and daily execution and reporting status to Operations and Program Leaderhip
- Work with Technical Leads to Design for Manufacturing. Process feedback from Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams to Program team.
- Attend Customer meetings and reviews as necessary, and act as Operations Lead during Design Reviews.
- Facilitate Operations, Manufacturing and Quality participation in design development to identify and address manufacturability, testability and inspectability issues
- Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, and other functional organizations across the program
- Lead the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies
- Visit other manufacturing sites to review best practices.
- Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices
- Experience with manufacturing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

- Advanced degree in management
- Experience in the following fields of Operational Excellence:
- Understanding of lean principals around pull systems, mix/max controls, etc.
- One Piece Flow or Pull System manufacturing flow
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- 5S 1 Visual Factory
- Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)
- Gemba implementation
- Demonstrated MRP/MES System adherence
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015; AS9100D and QMS adherence
- Aerospace & Defense electronics experience, high speed factory experience a plus
- Working knowledge and experience in Earned Value Management and/or comprehensive estimate-at-complete (EAC) establishment and analysis
- Working knowledge and experience in manufacturing labor standards (hours-per-unit) establishment and analysis
- Experience working in a matrixed organization

Salary : $74 - $84
