Skills Required
Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include: • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches. • Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects. • Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements. • Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. • Must demonstrate ability to read and use mechanical assembly and measurement tools such as micrometers and torque wrenches. • Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education Required
2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
