What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expediter position at Donatech Corporation?
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.
Production & Assembly: Load and unload parts onto weld tables and fixtures; stage weldments and fixtures as needed in production areas or "Client-down” areas. Quality Assurance: Review paperwork before moving items to the next operation as well as keeping an eye out for damaged parts or components. Problem Solving: Basic problem-solving skills in a weld and machine environment. Material Handling: Have (or achieve) forklift certification and have the aptitude to safely use all material handling equipment including but not limited to; various forklifts, hand carts, cranes, rigging equipment, magnets, and other material handling tools/equipment. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in strict accordance with company safety protocols. Be a champion of safety for other employees. Team Support: Perform additional duties as required to support overall team objectives and production schedules.
Certification: Must become forklift and crane/rigging qualified or certified within two months. Technical Skill: Ability to operate forklifts and lifting equipment in a safe and reliable manner. Safety Mindset: A commitment to promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment. Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professional conduct and a commitment to continuous improvement.
1 year of experience with high school diploma or equivalent at minimum. Ability to successfully pass crane and rigging training within two months of hire. Crane and rigging (lifting) certification or qualification. Forklift experience and certification or qualification.
