Our Donation Station Attendants exceed donor expectations by providing exceptional service. In this position, you will play a key role in representing the charity, ensuring every donor has positive experience. This is a part time position. Qualified candidates will be available to work 8-hour days on Saturdays and Sundays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service
- Assist with receiving and recording donations
- Safeguard donations until collected
- Maintain a clean and organized donation site
- Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies
- Place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner
- Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers
- Must be at least 18 years old Willing to submit to a background and drug screening
Education, Experience, Training Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
