JOB SUMMARY
Donate Life California is the state-authorized nonprofit organ, eye, and tissue donor registry. The Program Coordinator supports the planning and execution of organizational programs, events, and campaigns. This position collaborates with internal teams and external partners to help create marketing materials, coordinate communication strategies, and promote public education initiatives. The Program Manager plays a key role in day-to-day program operations and contributes to efforts that raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation across California.

What You’ll Do
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Partnership
- Support communication and outreach with DMV headquarters and field offices.
- Assist with planning statewide committee meetings, including agendas and follow-up.
- Help draft program materials, training resources, and campaign content.
Events & Programs
- Assist in planning and executing high-impact events like Lobby Day and board meetings.
- Provide logistical and behind-the-scenes support—materials, vendor coordination, guest assistance.
- Support statewide education, advocacy, and community outreach campaigns.
Donor Registry Support
- Assist with donor registry updates, data entry, and routine maintenance.
- Provide user support, track issues, and participate in audits and quality checks.
Public Relations & Communications
- Contribute to press releases, newsletters, and media outreach.
- Assist with event promotion, speaker scheduling, and storytelling projects.
- Maintain branded templates and campaign materials.
Marketing & Digital Content
- Help manage website and social media updates.
- Collect and edit stories from donors, recipients, and families for campaigns.
- Support national initiatives like National Donate Life Month and Blue & Green Day.
Administrative & Stakeholder Support
- Prepare presentation materials and support CEO/Board activities.
- Coordinate with California’s four OPOs, schools, and community partners on education programs.
- Support legislative outreach and advocacy day logistics.
