Production Manager

The Production Manager will oversee the production process and coordinates all activities to ensure there are enough resources on hand. The Production Manager will ultimately be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. Direct personnel towards maximum performance and have a deep understanding of production procedures. The Production Manager will plan workers' schedules, estimate costs, and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

• Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
• Work with Planner/Scheduler to organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor production to resolve issues.
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality control, operators etc.)
• Determine the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
• Work with Quality Control to ensure output meets quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety precautions.
• Report to and work with upper management on all aspects of the job.

Job Requirements

• Experience in plastics manufacturing
• Proven experience as Production Manager.
• Deep knowledge of production.
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Outstanding communication ability.
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
• BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred.
