Donaghy SalesJOB DESCRIPTIONTITLE: Sales Support AdministrationCLASSIFICATION: Hourly Plus Incentive, Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Director of Sales Execution and StrategyPurpose of position: The Sales Support Analyst provides data-driven insights, reporting, and operational support to the Sales team at Donaghy Sales, LLC, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic alignment across all sales initiatives. This role plays a key part in optimizing sales performance by maintaining analytical tools, generating actionable reporting, and supporting day-to-day sales functions. Strong proficiency in SQL coding is essential for querying large datasets, building reports, and supporting system integrations across multiple market territories.Data & ReportingDevelop, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze large datasets from internal systems (e.g., route accounting systems, CRM, inventory, pricing databases).Build automated dashboards and scheduled reports to support sales leadership, brand managers, and field teams.Maintain data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.Analyze sales trends, pricing, distribution gaps, and promotional compliance.Support long-term and short-term forecasting projects.Sales Operations SupportAssist with pricing updates, supplier reporting, and new product setups.Support the sales team with product availability data, inventory requests, and account-level insights.Audit promotional activity, incentive programs, and compliance tracking.Provide ad hoc analyses to support business reviews, supplier meetings, and route optimization.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams to streamline data workflows and improve business processes. Systems & ToolsMaintain and enhance internal reporting tools, dashboards, and sales support templates.Troubleshoot issues in sales systems or databases and coordinate with IT as needed.Assist in system upgrades, data integrations, and new tool deployment.QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience in related field. Proficiency in SQL coding (query development, joins, CTEs, stored procedures).Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query preferred).Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.PreferredExperience in the beverage distribution, CPG, or wholesale industry.Familiarity with route accounting systems (e.g., Encompass, VIP…).Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Strong organizational skills and ability to interpret complex data sets.Commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and operational excellence.Working ConditionsPrimarily office-based with occasional travel to field operations or warehouse locations as needed.May require flexible hours during month-end, supplier reporting periods, or major company initiativesI understand that, except for employment at-will status, any and all policies and practices may be changed at any time by Donaghy Sales, and the company reserves the right to change my hours, wages and working conditions at any time.
