Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport students to and from school.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition, including checking mechanical systems and safety equipment.
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, school staff, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, incidents, and vehicle maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) B or C with a school bus and passenger endorsements.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles is a plus.
- Strong communication; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children and manage behavior effectively.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and responsibility.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and physicals as required by law.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
