Evening Utility / Dishwasher — Full-Time
Don’t Matter | DUMBO, Brooklyn Pay: $18 per hour Schedule: Five shifts per week, 6:00 PM until close. Weekend availability required.
Don’t Matter, a new listening lounge in DUMBO, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Utility/Dishwasher to join our opening team. This position plays an essential role in keeping our dining room, bar, kitchen, and service areas clean and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Polish glassware and maintain proper organization
- Clear and reset tables throughout service
- Clean and regularly check guest bathrooms during service
- Keep dishwashing, kitchen, and service areas clean and organized
- Assist with basic kitchen prep during slower periods
- Support the front-of-house and kitchen teams as needed
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Willing to help wherever needed
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
