Position Overview
Don’s Dairy Supply is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This position involves welding stainless steel pipelines, fabricating custom components, and assisting with the installation and configuration of milk processing and farm equipment systems. Some work is completed in our shop, while other projects require on-site installation at farms or milk processing facilities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, and working with their hands, and who can think through how systems should be configured to function properly in real-world dairy environments.
Key Responsibilities
- TIG weld stainless steel dairy pipeline and components
- Fabricate custom stainless steel parts and assemblies in our shop
- Install and modify stainless steel milk lines and processing equipment on farms and in milk plants
- Read and interpret basic drawings and system layouts
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment and piping configurations
- Work with the team to develop practical solutions for unique dairy installations
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and sanitation required in dairy environments
Qualifications
- Experience welding stainless steel (TIG welding required)
- Fabrication experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to work both in-shop and on job sites
- Willingness to travel occasionally for installations
- Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial and farm environments
- Experience with dairy equipment or food-grade piping systems is a plus, but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
