We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Part-Time Auction Cataloging Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in cataloging and documenting items for upcoming auctions using specialized databases and inventory management systems
- Support the organization and maintenance of collections, ensuring accurate records of each item’s provenance, condition, and location
- Collaborate with team members to prepare detailed and appealing item descriptions and high-quality images for auction catalogs and online listings using a smart phone
- Conduct research on items to verify authenticity, historical context, and value to enhance catalog accuracy
- Upload and manage listings through our auction app
- Provide excellent customer service to buyers during pick up
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Comfortable using a smartphone and apps for work tasks
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
