As our new Toyota Service Assistant & BDC employee, you will be a face and voice for the dealership. We need a Service Assistant who is an expert in the art and science of customer service. While we prefer someone with dealer experience, candidates with great potential will also be considered for training. Once trained, you must be able to greet guests, schedule appointments and act as a liaison between customers and their service needs. Job Responsibilities
Greet service department customers promptly and courteously—attitude is everything!
- Listen to customers and clearly translate repair needs
- Assist Service Advisors with checking in and cashing out customers
- Receive and make outbound customer calls
- Provide accurate repair/maintenance estimates
- Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation
- Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pick up
- Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
- Keep Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in accordance with dealership standards
