Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with opening or closing duties including setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies like OpenTable reservations or POS equipment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to multitask efficiently with superb time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or kitchen support is a plus
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
