Don Jacobs has a great opportunity for an Estimator at our body shop. The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Customers with the Repair Process.
- Write initial estimate and schedule repair appointment.
- Manage repairs throughout the process
- Update customers on repair status
- Completes final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery
- Final Bill insurance companies and verifies final payment as needed.
- Dispatch and maintain an organized workload with auto body technicians
Qualifications include:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced high volume environment
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Preferred experience in automotive field, as an estimator, advisor, or technician
