Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at Don Franklin Russell Springs Chevrolet GMC. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver top-quality service to our valued customers while advancing your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Pay will be based on prior experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Duties
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake replacements.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems efficiently and accurately.
- Repair or replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools.
- Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly.
- Communicate clearly with advisors regarding repairs needed and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process.
Experience/Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in an automotive setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models, especially GM vehicles.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and electronic testing equipment.
- Ability to read schematics effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record - Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed prior to hire
