Don Franklin Somerset CDJR is seeking a motivated and energetic Quick Lube Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform fast, efficient oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services to ensure our customers’ vehicles are running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your automotive skills while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Pay will be based on pay and will be discussed during the interview process.
Duties
- Conduct quick oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs with precision and efficiency
- Perform basic vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, belts, hoses, and other essential components
- Assist with tire service, including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks safely and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Support additional maintenance tasks such as wheel alignments or light repairs when required
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior automotive service technician background preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and repairs beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including oil change procedures and tire service
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment necessary
- Customer service skills to assist clients professionally and courteously
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Previous experience with automotive repair or service technician roles is highly valued
