Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate billing and receipt issuance
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to support catering, banquet, or special event needs
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly, promoting safe alcohol consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
- Assist in training new team members on proper serving techniques, POS operation, and food safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods using solid time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Experience in food handling, beverage preparation, serving, cashiering, catering or retail math is advantageous
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legally eligible to serve alcohol in your jurisdiction)
