All students participate in the Corporate Work Study Program, where they gain professional work experience and earn money to pay for a portion of their education. DBCR is dedicated to providing a pathway for students to achieve their academic and professional goals in a supportive environment.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a High School Mathematics Teacher located in Washington, DC. The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in mathematics, including Algebra, to middle and high school students. Daily tasks involve creating lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing feedback, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. The teacher will also contribute to the overall educational experience by participating in school initiatives and activities.


Qualifications

  • Mathematics knowledge
  • Experience in Lesson Planning and teaching High School students
  • Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field preferred
  • Teaching certification or relevant experience in education
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
