Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Bench Jeweler capable of independently managing pieces from concept through completion. This is a hands-on, advanced role for a craftsperson who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional workmanship.
This role requires full-cycle bench work and the ability to think critically, adapt solutions, and execute at a high level when standard approaches are not enough.
What You’ll Do
- Execute full-cycle bench work from start to finish, taking ownership of each piece throughout the process
- Perform expert-level ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, prong re-tipping, and a wide range of repair work
- Fabricate and assemble complex pieces, ensuring proper fit, structure, and long-term durability
- Work confidently across a variety of metals and techniques, including laser welding
- Contribute to custom design work and in-house production, including casting and wax carving
- Uphold exceptional standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship in every piece
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of bench experience required
- Advanced fabrication ability with strong problem-solving skills beyond routine repair work
- Proven experience with full assembly and component integration
- Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative within a team environment
- Willingness to mentor and support junior bench jewelers when needed
- Strong pride in craftsmanship, with a team-first mindset and no ego-driven approach
- A bench test will be required as part of the interview process.
Compensation, Benefits & Schedule
- $60,000 - $120,000 salary (based on experience & skill level)
