Position Overview
Don Ayres Honda is seeking a dependable and motivated Service Porter to support our high-volume service department, servicing 150 vehicles per day.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that is critical to keeping our service drive running efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience. What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and assist with service lane flow
- Move, stage, and park vehicles in a high-volume environment (150 vehicles daily)
- Keep service lanes organized and traffic flowing smoothly
- Transport vehicles to and from technician bays safely and efficiently
- Perform basic vehicle tasks:
- Battery testing and documentation
- Tire pressure checks and adjustments
- Install service tags and prep vehicles for service
- Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service drive and customer area
- Communicate with Service Advisors on arrivals and vehicle status
- Assist customers with basic questions and directions
- Support the team with additional duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer/technology skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and stay active throughout the shift
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling available: Full-time, part-time, or summer employment
- Hours between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Some Saturdays 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
