Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring smooth operations, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance as a Host/Hostess if needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise.
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods while maintaining accountability for cash handling.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Support team members with food handling, drink service, and other duties that contribute to smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing bills confidently.
• Experience with food handling, bussing, serving, cashiering, or host/hostess duties preferred.
