West Village Italian gem, Don Angie, is seeking an experienced Maitre D to join the team! The Maitre D is included in the tip pool and requires a full-time schedule.

- At least 2 years relevant experience in a reputable restaurant.
- Excellent communication skills are required; ability to listen and make a connection.
- Professional and polished appearance required. Warmly greet every guest of the restaurant and provide a lasting first impression
- Leads reservations system management during service, works to provide a proper flow of service with strategic management of reservation and walk in seating and maximizes the book wherever possible
- Communicate pertinent reservation and guest notes to applicable team members (servers, kitchen team, manager etc.)
- Manages a dynamic waitlist by establishing accurate wait times for walk-ins
- Possesses proficient knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage menus
- Ensure all VIPs, Investors and other important guests are receiving appropriate accommodations and excellent service
- Ability to gracefully carry multiple beverages on a tray
- Perform other duties as directed by management
