Job Duties
Reports to Maintenance Coordinator, job duties will include but not limited to:
- Focus on Safety and Quality at all times.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Perform mechanical repairs to machinery and plant support systems, including all rotating and stationary equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting, understand ladder logic and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Work with production associates to perform equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret machine drawings.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- 3 to 5 years of experience working on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- A working knowledge of word processing and maintenance record keeping.
- An understanding of equipment reliability, parts inventory, and preventative maintenance.
- Additional education in college or vocational program is preferred.
- Mechanical experience required, PLC and Electrical training preferred.
- Digital work instruction software experience.
