The Position:
Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – Office of Administration – Enterprise Security Office (OA-ESO)
Position Title: OA-ESO - Senior .NET Developer Azure Cloud Architect TAS1 (782815)
Location: Remote Off-Site with Client in Harrisburg, PA
Duration: Initial term through 06/30/2026 ( Annual Renewal in 1-Year Terms)
Note: Position is currently fully remote off-site, but it could evolve into hybrid and/or full-time on-site in Harrisburg, PA. Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance (2-hours/100-miles /-) of Harrisburg, PA. Current residency will be verified.
OA-ESO is looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with strong Azure Cloud Architecture experience to design, build, and modernize enterprise applications using .NET Core, Power Platform, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate combines hands-on development expertise with a solid understanding of scalable, secure cloud architectures and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation and digital transformation.
- Design and develop modern applications using .NET Core (C#), MVC, and Entity Framework Core.
- Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Logic Apps).
- Build and enhance solutions with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Integrate .NET, Power Platform, SharePoint, CRM, and Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives (CI/CD, Git, Infrastructure as Code).
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability across all Azure-based applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and innovative solutions.
The Skills and Experience:
- 7 Years: Experience in .NET development and Azure-based application design
- Strong understanding of Azure architecture, security, and DevOps
- Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification preferred
