- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high service standards
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service during each interaction
- Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise handling as needed to load and unload deliveries with proper safety techniques
- Use organizational skills to plan delivery routes, optimize schedules, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or issues encountered on the road
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles preferred; valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record
- Strong math skills for accurate pricing calculations and transaction handling
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and traffic regulations across various areas
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and team members confidently
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing
- Prior experience in sales or upselling is advantageous but not mandatory
- Military background or disciplined approach highly valued for safety-consciousness and organizational skills
