What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Contract Psychologist in Beavercreek position at Dominion Medical Consulting?
Dominion Medical Consulting is seeking a clinical or forensic psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to conduct mental status evaluations for the Social Security Administration. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position.
Examinations are low risk. No provider-patient relationship is established and you would not be responsible for any treatment or follow-up. Right now, there is enough work to support about 3-4 day per month in the Greater Dayton area. We are also hiring a similar position currently for Columbus. This is a great moonlighting/side-gig opportunity, but not full-time. It is in-person only at this time as well. We have availability any time 9:00-5:00 M-F and you could determine your own schedule. We would handle the actual scheduling of claimants for you after you give your availability each month and provide you with a clean professional office to conduct the evaluations. We provide a template that you can use to help guide your examination.
The evaluation consists of a typed report which details the past psychiatric history and current impact on work functioning, as well as a brief mental status evaluation. Everything should be easily completed within the allotted 60-minute window.
Work will be contracted out on an as-needed basis. Currently we could schedule up to 1 day per month, if desired. Set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you would like. Reimbursement is $110 per MSE report, scheduled every 60 minutes.
