We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary
- Negotiates with landowners the purchase of rights-of-way for transmission lines, land leases and land for substation sites.
- Clears title to properties for rights-of-way and obtains deeds of release and certificates of satisfaction from lending institutes.
- Appraises real estate and residual damages caused by rights-of-way.
- Makes fair offers and provides supporting facts.
- Examines land titles to property and other court records to determine ownership interests.
- Researches land records in county or city clerk's offices.
- Assists independent real estate appraisers in preparing testimony for condemnation cases.
- May testify in cases.
- Handles complaints and settles crop disputes.
- Addresses questions and concerns from landowners.
- Accompanies contractors during rehabilitation of rights-of-way after construction to minimize damage claims.
- May conduct site meetings with property owners, contractors, surveyors, realtors, developers and governmental agents to resolves issues about purchase/sale of land, rights-of-way or easements.
- May prepare written responses for Company position to property owners and associated parties.
- 6 years of directly related experience.
- Knowledge and application of business, law, surveying, engineering and real estate.
- Skills: verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, negotiating, research, personal computer operation and applications.
- Abilities: organization, appraisal of real estate, public relations.
