POSITION SUMMARY

Dominion Box Company, a local corrugated box manufacturer in Dayton, TN, is seeking a dependable and professional CDL Delivery Driver to deliver corrugated boxes to customers within approximately 150 miles of our plant.

Drivers will load and unload large pallets of corrugated boxes and are responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of products to our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate company delivery trucks on local routes.
• Deliver corrugated boxes and products to customers within approximately 150 miles of Dayton, TN.
• Load and unload large pallets using a forklift.
• Secure and inspect loads before leaving the facility.
• Verify orders, quantities, and delivery paperwork for accuracy.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company policies, DOT requirements, and safety procedures.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure deliveries are completed on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and orderly truck and work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely load and unload large pallets.
• Must be dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Professional and friendly attitude with good customer service skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established delivery schedules.

SCHEDULE & REQUIREMENTS

• Day Shift
• Monday–Friday
• Overtime is required
• Drivers average approximately 50 hours per week
• Begin and end each workday at the Dominion Box Company plant in Dayton, TN
• Weekends and holidays off
• Local deliveries — generally within 150 miles of the plant

SAFETY & PROFESSIONALISM

Drivers are expected to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, follow all applicable DOT and company requirements, properly secure loads, maintain required documentation, and represent Dominion Box Company in a professional manner when interacting with customers.
