Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Uphold guest service standards by anticipating needs and providing assistance as necessary.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a strong emphasis on customer service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong sales abilities to promote menu items effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
