Summary:

Dominican University of California is hiring a full-time Director of Global Programs and Partnerships to work at the San Rafael, California campus.

 

Qualifications


Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated mathematical models to interpret information and data and drive strategic decision-making across global graduate and undergraduate programs. (15%)
  2. Lead the refinement of predictive models to enhance international enrollment strategies and student retention in international graduate and undergraduate programs. (15%)
  3. Act as the senior liaison for key global programs such as the China MBA and Latin America MBA. (10%)
  4. Establish and expand new partnerships with leading educational institutions, industry leaders, and governmental bodies worldwide; improve programs’ marketing efforts using marketing analytics and digital marketing. (10%)
  5. Lead data analysis related to international student enrollment, program outcomes, and other relevant metrics. (10%)
  6. Lead the strategic audit of data processes and analytical methods to ensure cutting-edge practices that support dynamic decision-making. (5%)
  7. Review the management reports prepared by Program Managers; provide guidance and recommendations to enhance report content, structure, and analytical depth, ensuring key insights, including operational problems, are accurately captured and effectively communicated to senior leadership. (10%)
  8. Collaborate with the Dean, Associate Dean, Program Directors and Managers to identify challenges and develop effective data-driven solutions to enhance student learning and student engagement. (5%)
  9. Lead the development of time and cost networks and financial models, to plan, control, and assess the outcomes of extensive international projects, including detailed cost profit analyses and scenario analyses to support decision-making. (5%)
  10. Train Program Managers to enhance their proficiency in integrating mathematical modeling into their strategic planning, program management, and program operation. (10%)
  11. Review research literature; organize and lead sessions that focus on the evaluation and application of recent research findings, particularly those involving advanced operational models and global education trends. (5%)

Required Qualifications:

  • At least a Master’s degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  • At least five years of full-time work experience as a Global Programs Manager, CEO, or related, in the education industry and involving higher education.
  • Prior academic background or work experience to include: R, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, data analysis, regression models, predictive modeling, developing data-driven solutions, cost and profit analysis, customer relationship management (CRM), digital marketing, and marketing analytics.
  • Good communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
