About Domify

Domify is an enterprise AI company in the financial services industry, working with some of the largest financial services firms in the country to transform compliance and regulatory oversight with the power of AI. We are building a new-to-industry enterprise AI platform in a highly regulated space in partnership with multiple enterprise clients.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and help us build out our platform as we go to market. This role is for an all-round player who is equally comfortable building out front-ends (about 30% of your role) as back-end and data engineering (c. 30%) and building out AI workflows using our proprietary frameworks (c. 40%).

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain back-end systems to power applications and data workflows.
• Build out AI-native front-ends (think more than just chat interfaces) that deliver the true power of AI to our clients
• Conceptualize and extend on Domify's proprietary AI frameworks that bring determinism to LLMs at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Solve performance bottlenecks and ensure application reliability and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments.
• Contribute to DevOps and MLOps practices, supporting infrastructure and automation for data and machine learning workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on full stack development.
• Prior startup experience is a must.
• Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Some experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks and workflows, and a willingness to learn more.
• Experience developing front end using React or Nodejs. Experience in relational database-PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Rest API and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data transformations (e.g., Airflow, Spark, or similar).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to build scalable and secure applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive, self-starter attitude.

Location: NYC in-office

We expect the successful candidate to work from Domify's mid-town office NYC 4 days a week. Telecommuting, short NYC stays or relocation are not in consideration at this time.

Salary

$150 - 175k, plus equity, based on experience.
