What are the responsibilities and job description for the Returns Laborer position at Dometic Marine?
Our Marine organization is a trusted provider of innovative solutions for the worldwide boating and boat building industry, and we recently expanded our scope to lead the boating industry into an electrified future. We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Return Laborer. This position reports to Production Supervisor and will work in Litchfield.
General Responsibilities
- Inspect, re-package and restock any good parts
- Return like defective parts to vendor on a regular basis
- Return parts to customer when credit is not issued
- Restock bulk inventory
- Determine eligibility of return
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnishes in written, oral, or schedule form

Skills & Requirements
- Must be dependable and have a good attendance record
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to work well with numbers
- Must be able to maintain accurate records
- Must be able to supervise employee through daily activities
- Must be able to work effectively on the computer, spreadsheets, and email
- Must be able to learn to use various test gauges in a reasonable amount of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must not have discipline warnings in the last 12 months
- Must pass the associated job protocol physical test as administered by Apex Physical Therapy.
Note: Failure to maintain any of these qualifications may result in disqualification from the position.
Training:
- Up to 2 to 4 weeks on the job training
