Role Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Domestic Violence Legal Advocate to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, remote role involves providing direct support to domestic violence survivors, guiding them through legal processes such as securing protective orders, and connecting them to appropriate resources. The advocate needs to he proficient in AI, and will collaborate with community organizations and build relationships with stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality and delivering trauma-informed care. Additionally, the role includes record-keeping, case management, and advocating for survivors’ legal and human rights.
Qualifications
Proficient in AI.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with survivors, legal professionals, and community organizations.
- Experience in Case Management and Social Work, with a focus on providing trauma-informed support to individuals in crisis.
- Knowledge in Community Outreach to effectively build relationships and connect survivors with relevant resources and services.
- Understanding of Criminal Justice systems and processes, with experience assisting individuals navigating legal frameworks.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an emotionally intensive role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
