HOURS:
- 35 hours per week - Monday through Friday, subject to variance according to program needs. May include evening and weekend work. The need to work 40 hours in any given week may be necessary as workload dictates. Hours up to 40 will be compensated as straight-time pay.
- Provide on-call back up service in staff rotation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public relations, social work or related field and/or combination of education and experience.
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse individuals, groups, and community partners. Ability to effectively communicate the needs of survivors and advocate on issues related to violence affecting individuals of all genders.
- Valid PA driver’s license, use of personal vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Availability to be on call and travel.
- Ability to deal effectively with crisis situations, communicate clearly both orally and in writing, exercise professional judgment, make independent decisions and maintain client confidentiality.
- Successful completion of 3-month probation period.
- No Record of child abuse or criminal history.
Position requires clearances. EOE.
Pays is $38,000-$40,000 annually.
