Role Description This is a full-time District Sales Manager role based in Youngstown, OH, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The District Sales Manager oversees territory sales and route representatives, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to achieve revenue and growth targets. Responsibilities include developing and executing district sales plans, managing account acquisition and retention, and ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. The role involves visiting customer sites, conducting joint sales calls, and supporting route sales representatives with pricing, proposals, and contract renewals. The District Sales Manager also monitors key performance metrics, collaborates with operations and service teams, and reports regularly on district results, trends, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales leadership, district or territory management, or a similar role in a service or B2B environment.
- Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing sales teams, with a focus on performance, accountability, and customer service.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, handle contract renewals, and support effective issue resolution.
- Comfort with analyzing sales reports, setting targets, and using data to guide decisions and refine sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
