What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Nanny position at Domestic Homes?
We're a little family looking for a gentle, dependable part-time nanny who brings patience, kindness, and a calm, nurturing presence—someone with a "Miss Honey" heart. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves children, leads with compassion, and wants to become a trusted part of our family's support system.
You'll be caring for our sweet, playful toddler who loves to learn, laugh, and explore. He thrives with routine, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. While he is on the autism spectrum, he is easygoing, affectionate, and does not exhibit aggressive behaviors. We're looking for someone who will celebrate his strengths, encourage his independence, and help him continue reaching his milestones in a loving, supportive environment.
Our ideal nanny will have:
- Experience with ABA principles or working with autistic children
- Potty training experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience managing food allergies
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
- A patient, dependable, and engaging personality
