Key Responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs with minimal supervision.
- Build efficient procedures and scripts to support complex batch operations that import, export and modify large volumes of data
- Optimize performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL workflows using SSIS.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Follow best practices for database security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Deep expertise in SQL Server development, including advanced TSQL, stored procedure design, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in building and maintaining SSIS based ETL workflows and comfortable working with complex data models and large datasets.
- Capable of interpreting functional specifications and translating them into robust technical solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for ETL automation is beneficial.
