Responsibilities
- Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products by providing expert advice on floral design, plant care, and seasonal trends.
- Maintain the floral stocking inventory, and ensuring all displays are fresh and appealing.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments, and process customer orders efficiently.
- Identify various plants and flowers through plant identification skills to advise customers on care requirements and suitable selections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, including stocking supplies, organizing workspaces, and managing inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in floral design or related horticultural fields is required; a strong interest in floral artistry is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, retail math, and merchandising techniques ensures smooth sales processes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for customer service with the ability to communicate clearly over the phone or in person to assist clients with their floral needs.
