Pay is $17 per hour.
Part time and full time positions available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing for daily menu items
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, sandwiches, and side dishes
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow
Skills
- Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly valued
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly processes
- Proven kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required
